Christopher D. Basso, CPA
Founder
Christopher founded Basso CPAs on a simple principle: clients are best served when the professionals exercising judgment understand the client behind the numbers.
About Christopher
Before founding Basso CPAs, Christopher spent seven years at MUN CPAs, serving individuals, closely held businesses, and tax-exempt organizations. He earned his CPA license and founded Basso CPAs in 2024.
His experience as a CPA provides a practical understanding of the tax and accounting rules that shape financial decisions. His experience as a business owner adds another perspective: he understands what those decisions look like when you are responsible for payroll, cash flow, hiring, investment, risk, and the consequences of getting them right.
How he works
Christopher believes the work should go beyond recording what happened or completing the form in front of him. The goal is to understand why something happened, what it means for the client, and how today's decisions may affect what comes next.
Every engagement is approached with continuity, accountability, and professional oversight. Important issues are raised early, tax and financial consequences are explained in plain language, and significant advice is documented clearly so the recommendation and its reasoning are easy to understand.
That standard reflects the commitment behind Basso CPAs: sound professional judgment, clear communication, meaningful accountability, and a focus on looking ahead rather than simply reporting the past.
